1. Domain Name / URL on Blog
Perhaps my friend ever read How to Create Quality SEO Content. By using the blog title in accordance with the keywords of your article will be very suitable in terms of SEO. Examples are like the URL on your blog: www.Tips-seo.com, and your articles or content is all about about SEO starting from Blog, youtube, etc. The proof is almost all the blogs that appear dipageone domain contains relevant keywords.

2. SEO Blog Template
Why Templates Affect SEO on Blogs?  SEO on blog templates is not only friendly with Search Engines, but there are other things that also affect an SEO-an template. The templates are pretty and interesting, but the speed on blogs is so slow that visitors are overwhelmed on your blog. Not only from the Search Engine visitors and even visitors who subscribe to you will be lazy to visit.

How to Increase Blog Visitors

Danni Website will review articles How to Increase Blog Visitors? Especially for those who want to  make money from blogs, increasing blog visitors is a necessity. If more and more blog visitors of course more and more money can be generated.
Just the question is, how the hell is actually how to increase blog visitors?
This question is one of the most frequently asked questions I get. Whether it's in email, in blog comments, on facebook, anywhere.
Well on this post I will try to answer the question in accordance with what I know and I believe.
Ok, just go ahead ...

Why my blog is empty for visitors?

Before I give tips to improve blog visitors, it would not hurt us to start first by finding out what might be the cause of why your blog is empty of visitors.
Based on the experience that I have, here are some things that I think often become a barrier to a blog to be able to get a lot of visitors:

1. Just learning blogging yesterday afternoon

The most obvious cause is because of new learning blogging and not have much experience about blog.
Creating a blog is easy, everyone can do it, but to make blogs get popular and get lots of visitors is not an easy thing.
If my friend feels new to learn blogging , then do not need to be confused or worried if the blog is still empty of visitors. It is very natural because it takes time and process.
But if my friend has long blogging and blogs are still empty of visitors, then there is probably something wrong with the way ngeblognya. The solution please can continue reading.

2. Hope the visitors will come alone

Buddy must have heard of a blogger who gave advice like this:
Diligently update aja, later visitors will come alone
Actually there is nothing wrong with the advice, just in my opinion is not right and can be misleading.
Why?
If my buddy blogging 10 years ago maybe that way is still effective because it used to be so many bloggers. In addition, the blogs are diligent updates tend to get good ranking on Google.
But now? Just a diligent capital update just will not be enough. There are many other things to note, one of which is to  promote blogs  in the right way.

3. Mediocre content

One of the key to success of a blog is the quality of content in it. If you want to get a lot of visitors then consider first the quality of content in your blog.
Especially if your blog discuss the topic that has been very crowded by the competition, if the content on your blog mediocre, then the edges will only drown in the middle of tight competition.
If you feel the content on your blog is still a lot to improve, then focus first to improve the content for better, do not think too much how to blog flooded with visitors.

4. Consider all blogs the same

In the post I challenge how to make money from my blog never explained that blogs have many kinds. Yups, not all blogs are the same, ranging from destination, topic, target visitors, and others vary from one blog to another blog.
Well because each blog is different, then the promotional strategy is also different. There are effective use this way, there are effective use that way, and others.
If my friend wants his blog to get a lot of visitors, then my friend should be familiar with these differences, the reason so that my friend can find the right promotional strategy for your own blog.

Some other causes ...

In addition to some of the above, there are many other things that may be the cause of why blogs are empty of visitors. One of them is a technical problem like a messy blog design and also super heavy blog loading.
But the four things I have explained above are, in my opinion, the most important.

How to Increase Blog Visitors

Well now the part you are waiting for a friend, the tips that can be done to increase visitors to your blog.
Some tips that I will give below I have applied in my own blog, but some are not or not I apply.
Please be directly listened to ya ...

1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Doing search engine optimization or SEO is a way of increasing the most popular blog visitors almost done by all bloggers
How come?
Because search engines are the largest source of blog traffic on the internet. In addition, SEO is suitable for all types of blogs. Whether it's niche blogs, micro blogs, blog gado-gado, blog news, business blogs, personal blogs, blogs anything aja.
But even so I do not know why there are some bloggers who assume that SEO is not important and just a waste of time.
SEO is important bro .... !!!
Just indeed, learning SEO is not easy because SEO is always changing from time to time. Need perseverance, patience, and unyielding spirit in order to master the science of SEO.
But ... whether to be able to get visitors from search engines should be an SEO expert?
NO!!
This is what sometimes many bloggers misunderstand, especially beginner bloggers. To be able to get visitors from search engines my friend should not be a SEO expert, SEO expert, master SEO, or whatever. Enough with basic level SEO techniques alone is enough to help your blog get visitors from the search engines.
One of the example is:
  • Do keyword research  before posting.
  • Make a post to be liked Google.
  • In addition, avoid  SEO mistakes that are often done beginners.

2. Promotion through Social Media

Many already know that social media is the second largest source of traffic after search engines, but not a few also often complain like this:
Mas, I already share the link in facebook status but why not there are visitors who stop by?
Mas, I have nyebar link in the facebook group but why the blog is still empty?
Just as SEO, promotion through social media is also no science, not easy nyebar link through the status of the blog continues to be flooded with visitors.
Here I will not give details on how effective promotion through social media, but there are some important principles you need to know if you want to promote your blog through social media.
  • Simply active in one social media only
Choose social media that my friend loves, or customize with the target of your blog visitors. If the target visitors more active on Twitter then be active on Twitter.
  • Use social media as the name implies
Do not use social media solely to promote your blog, because I believe it will not be effective.Use social media as the name implies, that is for social activities.
  • Build the reader first, a new promotion
That is gini, manyin first number of friends or follower social media account buddy after that just do promotion.

3. Commenting on other people's blogs (blogwalking)

Commenting on someone else's blog is arguably the easiest way to increase blog visitors. Almost all bloggers must have done it. I used to be so.
Although this way will not be able to make your blog immediately crowded like the market, but in my opinion is quite important especially for beginner bloggers.
I still remember very well when this blog got comments from visitors for the first time, nah visitors tesebut I get from the results commented on the blog of others.
From the first comment that makes me the spirit and finally can be consistent blogging until now.

4. Free-sharing

Everyone likes free, not to mention me. Because of this, for-for free on the blog can be an effective way to increase blog visitors.
Of course there are many other things that can be shared free on blogs other than blogger templates and also zombie blogs.
Example:
  • Ebook
  • Software
  • Audio
  • Video
  • Photo
  • Picture Design
  • And macem-macem

5. Caring with visitors

This is also one that I have done since I first created this blog, which is concerned with the visitors.
Examples of such concerns can be like replying to the comments of visitors, replying to emails from visitors, and also for the free as I have explained in point number 4.
Few any visitors to your blog today, if my friend is concerned with visitors is not impossible that little visitors can be a gateway for thousands or even hundreds of thousands of other visitors.

6. Write on other people's blogs

Although I never use this way, but writing on someone else's blog or guest post is a pretty effective way to capture the reader, especially if your blog is new.
Maybe my friend was wondering:
If you can write on your own blog why should write on someone else's blog?
Because no matter how cool or how handsome the content on your blog, if your blog is new then most likely there will not be read.
Well if my friend wrote quality content on blogs of others who already have a lot of readers, then my friend can attract the attention of blog readers to visit the blog that my friend is new. And finally you get free readers.
In addition to capture the reader, guest post is also famous mantab as one of the strategies to get quality backlinks for free. Just mantab really.

7. Active in forums

Forums can also be a great place to attract visitors. But of course blog promotion in the forum also should not be arbitrary.
Find forums that fit your blog topics and be active in them by answering questions or creating useful threads.

8. Active on Q & A site

Question and answer sites actually almost no different from the forum, only this site is more focused as a place for question and answer each other.
Buddy can be active on sites like this by answering the questions that exist, of course, while putting your blog address if necessary.
Some popular Q & A sites are:

9. Submit articles on social bookmarking sites

Besides famous as one way to get free backlinks, social bookmarking sites can also be used as a source to get visitors.
Not a few loh bloggers who get thousands of visitors per day just by relying on social bookmarking sites.

10. Upload videos on Youtube

Youtube is the third most visited website in the world under Google and Facebook. It certainly makes youtube become one other source that is not less cool to get blog visitors.
You can upload videos on youtube about things related to the topic on your blog.

11. Create post titles that "tease"

Post title is the first part read by blog visitors. If the post title is not interesting and seem boring, then the possibility of blog visitors will be blurred first before reading postingannya.
In addition, titles that "tempting" post can also make people who previously did not intend to read to be curious to see the title is so "teasing" it.

12. Create a post that is HOT

HOT I mean not HOT that it, but the intention to write a post topic that again ngetrend.
For how to know what topics that are ngetrend, my friend can pantengin Google Trends .

13. Create controversial posts

This method can be very effective to invite many visitors because controversial post is very easy to spread, especially with the help of social media. But this way is also quite risky.
If you want to use this way, you should really understand what you wrote and should be ready with the negative effects (get a lot of haters).

14. Place PPC ads

I think there are rarely bloggers who blog promotion by installing PPC ads, the reason is definitely because it must ngeluarin capital.
But if my friend has a lot of money, it would not hurt to install a PCC ad.
In this case you can use a service from Google called Google AdWords .

15. Place ads on other people's blogs

Or if you do not want complicated, my friend can also advertise directly on the blog or website of others.
Try a blog that my friend has the same topic or at least related.

16. Put the blog address on the shirt

A slightly unusual way, namely by installing the blog address on the shirt after that wear the clothes in a crowded place so many people who see it.

17. And many more ...

In addition to the ways I have explained at length above, there are still dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of other ways that can be done to increase blog visitors.

Conclusion

After reading the post above maybe now my friend confused:
Which one should I do?
If my new buddy learn blogging, then I suggest to use the way that according to the best friend first.Well, if you have enough experience about new blogs deh try a rather difficult way.
If just ngandelin easy way aja can not?
Can. The important thing to be patient waiting for years until the blog crowded visitors.
Should you wait a long time?
Because the difficulty level of the way done is usually directly proportional to the results obtained.

Maximum Allowed AdSense Ad Units on a Web Page

UPDATE: This article has been updated in September 2016 with the latest information. Read carefully, as this can help you earn more money from Adsense.

We all know that AdSense is (to date) the best contextual, high-paying ad network.

maximum-number-of-adsense-units-in-a-single-page

But AdSense also has very strictly enforced program policies. If they find that a website is in violation of their TOS, they will permanently disable the offending account.

It is very important to follow AdSense’s quality and program guidelines in order to avoid having your AdSense account banned.

Here’s one of the most common questions new bloggers ask:
  • “What is the maximum number of AdSense units I can put on a page?”
Google AdSense offers different types of ads and most are categorized in the following formats:
  • AdSense Content Unit
  • AdSense Link Unit
  • AdSense For Search
(AdSense used to offer AdSense video units as well, but they ultimately retired this option.)
Here are the maximum AdSense ad units allowed for a web page:

AdSense Content Unit
Earlier, AdSense had a maximum limit of 3 ad units (while “premium partners” enjoyed serving up to 6 ad units).

In August 2016, AdSense lifted the ad unit limit for every site.
  • You can now place an unlimited amount of AdSense ads on a page.
However, advertising and other paid promotional material added to your pages should not exceed your content.
In other words:
  • You also need to maintain the quality of your site.
AdSense Content Units are available in following sizes:
  • 728*90
  • 468*60
  • 234*60
  • 125*125
  • 120*600
  • 160*600
  • 180*150
  • 120*240
  • 200*200
  • 250*250
  • 300*250
  • 336*280
Personally, I have found 336*280 and 160*600 to be the most effective.
You can also use ads from multiple publisher IDs.
(Note: I have started serving ads using Ezoic which is also helping me to increase my overall revenue.)

AdSense Link Units
AdSense Link Units perform really well when blended with your theme and placed above the fold.
I tested this by placing one in the Navbar and it turned out to be one of my best-performing ad units.
Again, you can place unlimited Link Units as long as the ads are not exceeding the content.
You can find the various sizes for AdSense Link Units here.

AdSense For Search
For a big website, AdSense For Search units perform really well.

If you have not yet set up AdSense For Search units, read our guide:
  •  How To Set Up AdSense For Search

How many AdSense ads can you put on a page?

As mentioned above, Google has lifted the limit restrictions. As long as your ads do not exceed your content, there is no upper limit on the number of ads on a single page.

It’s important to note that while picking the number of ads, you should think about the short posts on your blog. If you decide to place more than 5-6 ad units, and you are placing them sitewide using a plugin, you might be spamming your own short posts with a large number of ads.

AdSense has explicitly mentioned:
  • “We may limit or disable ad serving on pages with little to no value and/or excessive advertising until changes are made.”
So I suggest you keep less than 5 ads per page.
I usually stick to 3 or 4.

But you should identify your own limit according to your blog’s layout.

A few things which I have learned from my own experience:
  • Sometimes 2 ad units perform better than 3 ad units.
  • Placing ads above the fold yields better results.
  • A combination of image + text ads perform better.
There are many different options available for the placement of ads, but I highly recommend using a minimum amount of ad units or utilizing adverts only at the bottom or on the sidebar.

Let us know how many AdSense ad units you are using on your blog. Now that Google has lifted the limit, are you using more AdSense ad units, or are you keeping it the same? Share your experience in the comments!

How You Should Be Accepting Guest Posts on Your Blog

Guest posting is not exactly the latest trend among bloggers and Internet marketers to grow their blogs and get backlinks, but it’s certainly one of the most popular techniques.

Most people prefer guest blogging over article marketing, as the quality of links and exposure that we get from a high-quality blog is far more than from an article directory.

This article is dedicated to all bloggers who accept guest posts on their blogs, and who receive too many guest posting requests/submissions every day.

accepting-guest-posts-blog

The idea of getting a free blog post is always appealing to a webmaster, but care must be taken so that you do not unknowingly hurt your blog with unfiltered guest posts. In this article, I will be sharing a few techniques that you should keep in mind when accepting guest posts. Use it as a guideline, or add it to your current criteria for accepting guest posts. I will also be outlining a few of the methods I use, which you may wish to use for your own blog.

Before moving forward with the following information, I recommend that you read my previously published guide on how to create a multi-author WordPress blog, which details some WordPress plugins that will help you to open your blog to guest posting.

Accepting guest posts? Are you killing your blog?

Believe it or not, you can use too many guest posts, and by doing so, you could be killing your blog. I’m not referring to the difference in the voices of the guest blog posts, but to the  SEO demerit of linking out via guest posts.

Guest posting can be very lucrative, and is an inexpensive way to gain backlinks, as I have previously outlined in an article on how to craft a guest posting campaign. You may have noticed a rise in requests for guest post proposals in the past few months. Since the Penguin update, it has become more difficult to gain quality links, and this has served to make guest blogging which an Internet marketer’s best friend. But, for many bloggers accepting guest posts for their blogs, it could become slow poison. I’m not suggesting that you should not accept guest posts.  You must, however, set a high standard with your guest post acceptance criteria.

Start with links
Let’s consider backlinks in guest posts.  This will help you to determine whether you need to consider additional factors, or simply reject a post.
Here are a few suggestions to consider:
  • Avoid linking out to irrelevant niches. If you blog about blogging, only accept articles that link out to related niches and blogs.
  • Avoid SEO-optimized anchor text links: Most of the IM uses the anchor text to generate links, and many times they use the same anchor text. Since the Penguin update, too many exact anchor text backlinks are considered spam, and you might end up penalizing your site. I usually link out to sites with the domain name.
  • A number of links: Limit the number of links to a maximum of two. Too many backlinks from one post to a single domain might be considered spam or a sponsored post.
  • Diversify links: This point may be a bit out of context, but it is still very important. Try to add 2-3 more outbound links from other domains.  This will ensure that if your guest author’s blog is new and not credible enough, your link will not be viewed as bad linking. Remember that you can link to Wikipedia or other useful resources from the web. You can read more about this in my previously published article on outbound links for SEO.
Content length
As part of my criteria for guest posts, I have set a post length of greater than 500 words. My niche is blogging, SEO, and Internet marketing, all of which requires detailed information.  For this reason, I believe 500 words should be the minimum for adequately and meaningfully delivering that information. Depending on your niche, you can set a length criteria for guest posts for your blog as well. My recommendation would be that guest posts should be at least  400 words, regardless of the niche.

Duplicate content/spun content
Before checking the quality and other factors of guest posts, I recommend you carefully check to make sure every proposed guest post is original, and not duplicated material.  To do this, simply select one line from each paragraph, and search that line, enclosed in quotation marks (“…”), in Google. This should tell you whether there is any near-duplicate or exact-duplicate out there. You can also use services like Copyscape to check the originality of content.
Read:
  • Will I get penalized for duplicate content?
  • How to prevent duplicate web content
Guest post image
This same research applies to images within guest posts.  Make sure they are not copyrighted images, and that you have sufficient permission to use them on your blog.  I have noticed that in most guest post submissions, authors are using images from Google image search, and that is always a bad idea. As an editor or owner, you can run a reverse image search or simply direct the proposed guest author to guides such as: How to use Flickr to find images or sites from where they can download images.

Content quality
Most bloggers and IM whom I know hire freelance writers to write articles for them, and then they submit the articles as guest posts. There is nothing wrong with this practice unless the submitter is not thoroughly editing the articles and adding personal touches to them.
I set criteria of a certain standard of quality of the content I will allow on my blog.  If a proposed guest post does not meet the standard of my blog content, I simply reject the proposed post and add a note explaining this. You can read this guide on how to judge the quality of content, which will give you an idea of what factors you should be looking for in a quality article.

Readability and spelling mistakes
Readability is one of the SEO factors, and I use the EasyWPSEO plugin to check the readability score of any article. If the readability score is negative or very low, I always ask the submitter to rewrite and resubmit the content.
Make sure also to take great care to correct grammar and spelling mistakes. What matters most is the quality of an article when the post goes live. You can use free chrome addon like Grammarly to check for common grammatical and spelling mistakes.

Self-promotion
I don’t mind self-promotion as long as it is adding value to the article. Sometimes people go overboard with self-promotion in guest posts, and this is never good.  Excessive self-promotion should be limited from day one.
  • Guest post for backlinks: Is it worth asking?
Out-of-niche topics:
Make sure you have a good reason for accepting every guest post for your blog. Never accept articles on topics that are not related to your niche. Regardless of how good the article may be, if it is off topic, it will be a disappointment to your regular readers. You can specify clearly the topics that you accept for your guest posts.
If you follow the points noted above, you will improve the quality of guest posts on your blog.  I also recommend that you have a dedicated page for guest post submission guidelines on your blog. This page should mention the criteria for accepting guest posts, as well as other important information such as how to submit the guest posts and how long the author should expect to wait to hear whether the post has been accepted.
What criteria do you specify before accepting a guest post on your blog?  Share your thoughts with us using the comments section below.

But since everybody is running behind them, they have made the approval system very strict. You make little mistakes and get disapproved every time. Here are few reasons why Google will reject your AdSense application.

Common AdSense Rejection Reasons

Here are the most common rejection reasons and Google AdSense requirements that you should keep in mind before we get into details.

1.  Insufficient content / Unacceptable site content

Your website doesn’t have enough text on for Google specialists to review.
Google gives a lot of value and attention to the content of the blog before accepting it. If the content is poorly written and has grammatical mistakes Google will reject the blog right away.
Not only the content needs to be grammatically correct, it must be unique and has to provide value to the users and readers of the blog. So the number one reason is the poorly written content on your blog.

2. Page Type / Design of your blog

What will you do if you land a page with full bright yellow background with white text on it, having huge buttons all over the place?
Yes, you’ll never visit that website again .
Blogs which are poorly designed and are hard for the visitors to understand gets rejected by Google AdSense. You must have a good and neat design which comforts the eye and is beautiful in the look.

3. No Privacy Policy, About Us or Contact Us page

There are some pages which you must have before applying to Google AdSense if you want to get accepted.
These are about us, privacy policy and contact us pages. These pages give the impression that you are a professional and that you are working according to the Google policies. Keep in mind that having a privacy page is also one of the requirements for Google AdSense.

4. Site Does Not Comply With Google AdSense Policies

No rich, unique and meaningful content, no organic traffic, pages with little to no original content or bad user experience through clear navigation and organization.
Your website may be the one that drives traffic through illegal sources, sites with excessive keywords or poorly coded design are usually rejected.
So you need a complete guidance and list of things that you need to do before applying for Google AdSense.

2. Create Privacy Page for Your Blog:

One of the common mistakes that most new bloggers. Even though there are people out there who say that having a privacy policy for a blog doesn’t make sense but they are wrong!
The first thing you will need to apply for Google AdSense and get approval is the privacy policy of your blog or website. If you don’t have it you cannot get approval simple is that.
Why is it important?
It’s requirement of AdSense and secondly, this privacy policy means you are not a scam and gives the sense of a serious business. Google will check the rest of the conditions only if you have this policy.
A privacy actually describes to your readers about what they will get on your blog , what they should do and what they should not. So obviously there is nothing bad in having a privacy policy. While it can affect somehow on your AdSense approval, you must give it a try.
You can write it yourself or find Privacy Policy Generators online (You don’t need a lawyer anyway).

3. Create About Page:

Like privacy policy, you must have an about page so that you can get approved. This also shows that there is a real person behind the blog.
An About page has a major role and importance even if you don’t want to apply for AdSense. But when it comes to AdSense, they are about zero chances of getting approved if you are not showing this page.
About page simply describe you and your blog . This will not only help you establish a relationship with readers but it will also make them trust you.

4. Setup A Contact Us Page:

It’s quite obvious that everyone has his/her own opinion.
What one of your readers likes may be bothering someone else. Then it is better to give them an opportunity to speak up to you and tell how they feel about your blog, what they want to be edited , what they liked or hated.
Create a contact page, if possible add your email that you are going to apply for Google AdSense. If possible do get some professional email address like ammar@allbloggingtips.com and your social profile links too.
By creating this you are telling Google that we care for our customers, visitors and we are ready to help them. They can contact us anytime.
It will also show the Google AdSense Team that is viewing your site that you actually care about your readers and not only the money and AdSense.
Check out my contact page to get some idea.
One important step: Google AdSense mention in their rejection email that your website should have a clear navigation menu to help your readers find your pages and access the content before you think about applying again for AdSense.
So, what you’ve to do is to work on your menu by adding all important categories and pages i.e about us, contact us and privacy policy to help your readers easily find the content that they are looking for. The more you care about improving your visitors experience the higher chances will be to get approved by AdSense.
Here’s an example to illustrate this point.

5. Verify Your Name and Email:

When you apply don’t forget to put your name and email address in some easily visible area like about and contact pages. It will confirm to Google AdSense team that it is the same person who applied for AdSense and not some spam, crappy bots.
This will speed up the verification process and within no time, you’ll be able to enjoy fully approved AdSense account.

6. Have Some Good Number Of Posts:

What should be the minimum number of posts before applying for Google AdSense? There is no confirmed answer.
Not even one.
Because I have seen very established blogs with 300+ posts and their owner telling me that Google AdSense is rejecting them while somewhere bloggers with few posts or even less than 10 are enjoying making money with AdSense.
Exactly, what I said that there is no actual answer. However, we can always predict things.
According to my experience, the best time to apply for AdSense account is when you have at least 20 good quality posts. Your blog posts length should be at least 600+ words with quality content.
Dillon got his AdSense account approved with just 3 posts, 115 views, and 2 comments. Isn’t that great?
I visited his blog and noticed these things that actually matters to get Adsense approved.
  • Simple and clean design
  • Easy to navigate blog
  • Unique niche
  • Detail content
  • No “unwanted” widgets
  • 7. Make Sure You’re 18+

This is the mistake that new bloggers are making who are less than 18. They write incorrect age and get into trouble.
Use your correct date of birth and age while applying for Google AdSense account.
Because Google AdSense is not for people who are under 18. Some people realize this problem after being disproved a few times without any legitimate reason.
So I advise you to be accurate while typing your age.

    8. Improve Your Blog Design:

As mentioned earlier, you blog design matters a lot. It should be professional and not like a messy photo gallery. A clean, professional and fast-loading design is appreciated by Google.
When you visit a website what’s the first thing you look for? It’s blog design.
You’ve to build a good first impression on your blog readers to engage them.
Your blog design is the biggest thing after content. This represents your expertise, experience, and professionalism. It should have following features:
    • Simple and professional
    • Easy to navigate
    • Proper menus
    • No useless items in sidebar or footer
    • Search engine friendly
    • Fast loading
So be careful because anything can kill your chances of getting approved by AdSense.
There are thousands of websites who provide free professional looking themes for your blog. All you need to do is to search for them.
If you’re on WordPress self-hosted blog then I recommend getting a premium theme from MyThemeShop.
And if you are still using blogspot then there are many great websites where you can find free professional looking blogger templates for your blog.
Check out my post on the reasons to invest more money on your blog.

    9. Check Your Content Type:

Be careful with what type of content you are publishing. Because it is something that truly matters.
Here are some common content types that are not accepted by AdSense.
    • Pornography/Adult materials
    • Pirated Content
    • Hacking or Cracking Tutorials
    • Illegal Drugs/Paraphernalia
    • Any Other Illegal Stuff
    • There are few languages that are supported by AdSense so make sure your blog language is in the list of these.
  • Google AdSense team mentioned in one of their forum posts that they stopped accepting niches that are already saturated i.e making money, marketing, website and SEO stuff. You can read more here.
If you already have written about these content that AdSense doesn’t support, you can either stop dreaming about AdSense or get rid of these content.

10. Use Top Level Domain:

Google has made changes to their policies. If you have a blog with blogspot and the domain is yourblog.blogspot.com then chances are you will get approved quickly.
But you will not be able to use that on any other domain like .com. You’ll have to submit the request to upgrade your AdSense account.
As for today, you must have your own unique domain that specifies your blog. If you don’t have one yet, stop dreaming about getting approved with sub domains and go buy a Top Level Domain. It will cost anywhere from $10-$15/year. You can buy the domain from Godaddy or Namecheap.
The best domain is the one with .com extension. Choose a short, unique and easy to remember domain that is related to your blog niche.
Another important thing about the domain is its age. Because for some of the Asian countries like India, AdSense has placed domain age restriction. They don’t accept any sites which are less than 6 months old.
There are many AdSense stories that I read on many forums that some people got approved for few weeks old blog and other got rejected for the blog that is even more than 6 months old. So age doesn’t really matter when you have a high-quality blog that’s focus more on helping your visitors.
If you’ve a website that is less than 6 months old then you can still consider applying for AdSense.
Shibam got accepted by Google AdSense with 28 posts and a 6 months old blog. He managed his blog from mobile only.

11. Remove Other Ad Networks:

If you have any other ads placed like Chitika, Infolinks, Clicksor or anything, it’s time to drop them off.
Make your blog free from ads.
Even Google AdSense allows you to use other ad networks along with them, it’s better to remove the ads before applying and don’t put them back until you get a reply from AdSense team which usually takes anywhere from few days to weeks.
So, before submitting your application for Google AdSense make sure to remove all the ads on your blog from any other network.

12. Check Your Traffic Sources:

Google hates the sites that are getting paid traffic and mostly penalizes them so there is not a damn chance of getting approved by AdSense for a site that is getting paid traffic. You can bring traffic from search engines or any other way you want but if you want to earn via Google AdSense the right way, paid traffic is not a solution.
Also, note, that Google does not accept site which gets traffic from illegal sources. So focus on getting traffic from legal sources like social media, search engines, and related blogs.

What to Do If Your Application Is Rejected?

Okay, so you had done trying everything you could to get approved by AdSense.
But, AdSense is still not getting approved.
Well, It’s not the end of the world! ;)
There are two things you can do:
#1: Don’t lose hope. Take your time to fix the issues on your blog that is mentioned by AdSense in rejection email and apply again. Remember, if you are disapproved, you can apply again and again until you finally get approved by Google AdSense. There’s no issue with that. Just use the same email account that you used for the first time.
#2: There are many other trusted and high paying ads network you can use and trust me they are not hard as Google AdSense is in terms of getting approval. One door of opportunity is closed so the other one will open.
You can use these ad networks to earn money without AdSense. They are easy to get approved.

1. Infolinks

Infolinks is the leader in in-text advertising which offers 70% revenue share even if you’re a newbie blogger. It is different from other advertising networks. It takes less space because it shows in text ads or pop up ads. You can use it with Adsense safely.
It is a pay per click. They offer advertising options like: insearch ads, intext ads, inframe ads, intag ads.

Media.net is probably the best alternative to AdSense as it’s powered by Yahoo Bing Network. I’ve tried Media.net few years ago and the average CPM was much better than any other AdSense alternatives. Media.net ads are quite similar to Google AdSense and it’s very easy to get approved if you’ve a quality blog.
  • Alexa Rank: 5132

Make sure to do these things before applying for Google AdSense. I guess these are not too hard. Don’t be sad if Google AdSense doesn’t approve your blog. There are many other ways to make money online without AdSense.
Hope for the best.
One more thing, don’t reply too much on AdSense. Try to make money through your blog from other business models. Ads network will not give you much as other income methods like affiliate marketing and selling your own product.
